August 12th: In my book I ask the question, "Was your Mom a runner?" The point I was making
is that exercise and real attention to what we eat are new over the last 20-30 years or so. In today's Wall Street Journal
there is an article pointing to a couple new studies that show proper eating and exercise might reduce the incidence of Alzheimer's
disease and dementia.
My response is, of course. It makes too much sense, and I have written about that possibility for years. Our
bodies are magnificent, but they need proper care. It stands to reason the better we take care of our bodies the better they
will function. This type of thinking is what my book and this site are all about.
We need to eat right and exercise so we have the energy and enthusiasm to get the most out of life. We will
look and feel good. Amazingly good news.
